These funds will go towards providing fresh farm food to people who are in need.
When Nigel was diagnosed with multiple myeloma we experienced first hand the importance fresh, nutritious food made in his recovery process. During that incredibly challenging time access to healing food was something we did not have to worry about. Grateful for the bounty from our farm, we decided to do something to help others in need by donating 10 CSA boxes every week to those who were also battling cancer. And so our Care Share program was born. Through the generosity of our CSA members and friends of Eatwell Farm, we have been able to expand our program to include not just individuals fighting cancer but organizations like The Family House @UCSF, Potrero Hill Neighborhood House, Opportunity House in Vacaville and Family Services in Dixon. Thank you for your support, it has allowed us to expand our program helping even more folks in need. If you know someone in the SF Bay Area who could use a box, please contact our office at organic@eatwell.com and reference Care Share.
