How our CSA program Works

You sign-up for a subscription length of your choice (4, 13, or 26 deliveries) and receive a delivery of fresh, organic produce grown at the farm weekly or bi-weekly.  Your credit card is charged for the entire subscription ahead of time, and we suggest new members to start with the smallest subscription (4 boxes) to see how the CSA works for you.  We have different subscription lengths with different pricing. You can put a delivery on hold if you will be away as long as you do so by 4pm the Sunday before your delivery.  You will always have the option to donate your delivery as well.  

Picking Up Your CSA Box

1.  Look for your name on the list that is posted at your pickup site.

2. Look to see what has been scheduled for you that day (CSA box, eggs, flour, lavender products, etc...) 

3.  Sign your name in the space provided before you take your items.

-If your name does not appear on the list, please do not take anything and contact us at (707) 999-1150 or at organic@eatwell.com.

- We only guarantee pickup during the stated hours, and the hosts are not obligated to keep boxes beyond those times.  No credits are issued if you are late picking up.  If you think you will be late picking up, please contact your host ahead of time to arrange an alternate pickup.

Putting a Box on Hold

It is easy to manage your account online!  If you are going out of town and would like to skip a delivery, you can do so by simply clicking on the calendar day once you are logged into your online account, and select the day you will be away.  Then click the HOLD button and choose whether you would like to hold your delivery or donate it. All holds must be placed before 4pm the Sunday before your delivery. Unfortunately, we can not take last minute cancellations, but you can opt to have a friend pickup your delivery for you and try us out for a week! If you cannot have a friend pick up your delivery, please contact your host and ask them to donate your box.

We Can Reuse Your Box

Re-using our boxes helps keep our overhead low, which translates into savings for our members.  Please return your box to the pickup site flattened and stacked neatly, and our delivery driver will return them to the farm.  You might find it easier to bring your own bag to your pickup site to collect your fruit and veggies.  Please make sure you take care when opening the flaps of the box and do not tear them open.  Thanks! 

Renewals

You now can renew online by simply choosing the subscription you want and pre-paying with your credit card. We also have an automatic renewal option if you would like to have the system renew you for the same subscription each time your previous subscription runs out.

Refunds

We encourage you to sign up for the subscription length that will suit you best.  We understand the CSA program may not work for everyone and encourage new members to start with the 4-box trial.  If you will be away for an extended period of time, we can put your account on hold or issue a refund for the remaining paid deliveries.  Please note, with the 12 box subscription, we give you a 13th box for free and the refund will be less the 13th delivery.  Likewise, the 24 box subscription comes with 2 additional free deliveries and the refund amount will be less those 2 free deliveries.  The refund will be issued in the manner that it was received.

Our Privacy Policy: 

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey or fill out a form.

When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number or credit card information.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways: 

  • To personalize your experience
    (your information helps us to better respond to your individual needs)
  • To improve our website
    (we continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you)
  • To improve customer service
    (your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs)
  • To process transactions

    Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
  • To send periodic emails

The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, etc.) will be kept on file for more than 60 days in order to process customer requested re-occurring transactions. This information will be held by Authorize.net. They have their own privacy policy which can be located at Authorize.net Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.

This online privacy policy applies only to information collected through our website and not to information collected offline.

By using our site, you consent to our online privacy policy.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page, and/or update the Privacy Policy modification date below.
